In 2008, the owner and founder of Fort Collins Window Tinting, Martin Faith, first experimented with window film. He installed the product in his own home and was astounded by the significant decrease in his monthly energy bills - during both summer and winter months. He also noticed the effect the film had on his floors and furniture since window film prevents sun damage by blocking UV rays from passing through the windows.

Fort Collins Window Tinting was founded in 2008 by Martin Faith. Martin is also the owner of Scottish Stained Glass and Scottish Home Improvements – both which helped start his career with window film. After personally seeing the benefits of window film in his home, he sought out to create a company that will help others in their houses and offices.
